Rapid Build Programme
Our Rapid Build programme allows us to build your new home in the fastest way possible. The home is delivered as a kitset and assembled on site, or pre-built and transported to your location. This saves you, the client, both money and time.
We developed Rapid Build due to the time traditional stick builds were taking to complete. Build schedules were constantly being delayed for many reasons outside our control. Non-productive days with poor weather and delayed product deliveries were leading to setbacks with council inspections, and so on.
By locating our build factory in Wellington and working under cover, we are able to build to our schedule all year round. In addition, the technology and capability of modern crane trucks has enabled transportable homes to be placed in locations that would surprise most. Not all locations will be feasible, however, and that’s what the small fee for preliminary works covers – we work out what can and can’t be done at the very start of each project.

Kitset or transportable homes built the Rapid Build way
Getting down to brass tacks, the Supreme Homes Rapid Build method consists of 5 steps.
Step 1
Choose one of the Rapid Build homes from our website.
Step 2
Book and pay only $391 incl. GST for your preliminary works. We will discuss your project and site location to make sure you’re getting what you want, and that our Rapid Build process will work for your chosen site. We’ll make sure it’s within your budget.
We can undertake Rapid Builds with the home fully built and transported to your site on a house moving vehicle within the area outlined in green on the map. The cost of delivery is additional.

We can deliver your Rapid Build home via the “container shipping” option outlined in yellow on the map, as far as New Plymouth on the west coast, Tūrangi in the middle of the island, and Napier in the east. Delivery costs are additional.

Step 3
Once you’ve decided which Rapid Build design to go ahead with, we’ll put together a Master Builder Contract detailing all our specifications and finishes, along with a predetermined payment claim page. The contract is then signed and a 10% deposit paid. All your payments are safe and protected by the 10 Year Master Build Guarantee for peace of mind.
Your deposit allows us to engage our architect to prepare site-specific plans and submit to the required council for building consent.
Step 4
Once we’ve received a set of stamped, approved plans from the council, we start the Rapid Build at your site and our factory at the same time. Your site will require power, water, sewage, stormwater, and earthworks preparation, whether for a concrete pad or piles and timber floor.
Back at our factory, we build your new home under perfect conditions, preparing it either to be shipped to the site as a kitset of pre-built components, or built in full as a transportable home, ready to be delivered by a house-moving truck.
Step 5
Delivery day: your new home is either unwrapped and assembled using a crane truck, or manoeuvred into place by the house movers ready for the finishing touches, along with being hooked up to your services ready for final building inspections. Either way, it’s quick!
