I’m Steve Hicks, company owner of Supreme Homes, and I’ve been involved in the building industry for over 15 years. I’ve found that it’s no longer enough just to be a great builder. You need to have the skills to manage contracts, crews, and client needs, and balance a happy family life as well. By bringing the right key people into our projects, I think we’ve nailed it!
My philosophy for Supreme Homes has always been about more than providing well-designed houses and top-quality workmanship. I believe that fellow Wellingtonians looking to take the huge step of building their own house deserve the best advice and support. At Supreme Homes, we can share with you our wealth of experience and knowledge of the building industry to provide practical solutions to problems and help you make the right decisions.
In conversations about building options, the word “trust” continually crops up. Most people say, “You’ve got to trust your builder.” Establishing a relationship of trust with our clients and being reliable and approachable are at the forefront of the way we do things at Supreme Homes.
We go the extra mile and sometimes a bit beyond to make what can be a stressful process for people as enjoyable as possible. Over the years we’ve accompanied clients as they’ve searched for the right building site for their project, and we’ve been on hand with advice and support as clients work with their architect, and draw up and submit building plans.
We value good communication. During a build, we hold regular site meetings with clients to keep them fully up to date with progress, and we’re available to answer any questions that clients might have.
I look forward to hearing from you so we can talk about your ideas.
What our clients have to say:
“Steve would liaise directly with the council, sorting out building consents and arranging inspections, which saved time and ensured progress continued. He also arranged for other sub-contractors, such as electricians and plumbers to come in when needed, which saved a lot of my own personal time”
